About

DumpsterSidekick is an independent directory built to make dumpster rental simple and transparent. We connect homeowners, contractors, and property managers with real local dumpster rental companies — and when you request a quote, we send it to a small group of haulers in your area so you can compare and pick who you want to work with.

What we do

DumpsterSidekick is a directory and quote-request service. When you search by ZIP code, we show you a list of real, listed dumpster rental companies in your area — their actual contact information, the sizes they offer, the markets they serve, and how to reach them directly.

You can browse listings and contact a hauler directly, or you can submit a quote request and we will route it to a small group of qualified haulers in your area — typically three to five companies — so you can compare prices and pick who you want to work with. We do not run a call center, we do not pretend to be a national company, and we do not auction your information to the highest bidder. Haulers in our network pay a flat rate per lead, not a bidding war.

Why we built this

The dumpster rental industry has a transparency problem. Search “dumpster rental near me” and most of the results are broker sites, lead aggregators, or national chains that subcontract to whichever local hauler happens to be available — often without telling you. Prices balloon. Service suffers. Real local companies get drowned out by Google ads they can’t afford.

We started DumpsterSidekick because we believe homeowners deserve better. The local hauler down the street — the one who answers the phone, knows the local landfill rules, and has been in business for fifteen years — is almost always the right call. Our job is to help you find them, and to give you a way to compare a few of them side by side without filling out fifteen forms on fifteen different websites.

How we make money

We are honest about this: DumpsterSidekick is a business, not a charity. We make money in four ways, all of which are disclosed:

  • Featured listings. Haulers can pay to appear higher in search results within their service area. Featured listings are clearly labeled as such.
  • Premium hauler profiles. Haulers can pay for an enhanced profile with more photos, expanded service descriptions, and direct booking links.
  • Lead sales. When you submit a quote request through our site, we share your request with a small group of haulers in your area — typically three to five — and the haulers pay us a flat fee per lead. The haulers contact you directly, and you choose who to work with. We do not sell your information beyond that group, we do not auction it to the highest bidder, and we never share it with anyone outside our network of listed haulers.
  • Affiliate partnerships. When you click through to certain national haulers from our site, we may earn a referral fee. This never changes the price you pay or the service you receive.

If you do not want your contact information shared with multiple haulers, do not use the quote request form — instead, browse our directory listings and contact a single hauler directly. That option is always available and always free.

Who we are

DumpsterSidekick is run by a small editorial team based in the United States. We are not a private equity rollup, a Silicon Valley unicorn, or a venture-backed lead generator. We are a few people who think the dumpster rental industry is overdue for an honest, useful directory.

If you have a question about a listing, a correction to suggest, or feedback on the site, we want to hear it. Reach us through the Contact page.

What’s next

DumpsterSidekick is a young site, and we are adding features steadily. Expect to see expanded coverage of more cities, deeper hauler profiles, side-by-side comparison tools, and better filtering for specific project types (roofing, demolition, estate cleanouts, etc.). If there is a feature you wish we had, tell us — we read every email.

Thanks for visiting, and good luck with your project.
