If you run a dumpster rental company, DumpsterSidekick is a way to get in front of homeowners and contractors actively searching for haulers in your area — without overpaying a broker, fighting Google ad costs, or losing control of your customer relationship.
What we offer haulers
DumpsterSidekick is an independent directory built for haulers who want a fair shot at local search traffic. Here’s what being listed actually gets you:
- A real listing in our directory. Your business name, phone number, service area, sizes offered, and any other details you want to share. Customers contact you directly using the information on your listing.
- Visibility on city and state pages. When a customer searches “dumpster rental in Houston” (or wherever you operate), your listing appears alongside other haulers in that market.
- Access to the lead pool. Customers who submit a quote request through our site have their request routed to a small group of qualified haulers in their area — typically three to five companies. If you’re in our network, you get a chance to win that customer.
- No fake aggregator pretending to be your company. Unlike broker sites, we never display your information under a different brand or pretend to be a national company. Customers see your real business name from the start.
What we don’t do
We are upfront about what’s not on the table:
- We do not auction leads. Haulers in our network pay a flat rate per lead, not a bidding war. The same lead is shared with three to five haulers regardless of who pays the most.
- We do not guarantee lead volume. Lead flow depends on search demand in your area, your service coverage, and how you respond to customers. We will not promise you a specific number of leads per month.
- We do not handle your customer relationship. Once a customer contacts you, the relationship is yours. We do not take a cut of the rental, we do not process payments, and we do not insert ourselves into your operations.
- We do not run a high-pressure sales pipeline. If our directory and lead model is a good fit for your business, great. If it’s not, we are not going to call you every Tuesday for the next six months trying to upsell you. One email exchange and a clear answer is the whole sales process.
How haulers get listed
There are three paths to being in our directory:
Free directory listing
Your basic business information appears in our directory at no cost. You’ll show up alongside other haulers in your market on city and state pages, and customers can contact you directly using the contact info on your listing. This is the entry point — no payment required, no contract, no obligation.
To get a free listing, email us at haulers@dumpstersidekick.com with your company name, service area, phone number, and the dumpster sizes you offer. We will verify your business is real and active and add you to the directory within a few business days.
Premium hauler profile
For a flat monthly fee, you can upgrade to a premium profile that includes:
- A more detailed listing with photos, expanded service descriptions, and your logo
- Priority placement in your service area’s listings
- A “Featured Hauler” badge that displays prominently
- Direct booking links if you have an online quote system
- Optional review and ratings display
Premium profiles are designed for haulers who want to stand out in competitive markets. Pricing is flat-rate by service area size, not auction-based.
Lead routing
If you want access to inbound quote requests, you can opt into our lead routing program. Here’s how it works:
- Customers submit a quote request through our site, including their ZIP code, project type, and timing
- The request is routed to three to five qualified haulers in that customer’s area
- You receive the lead by email or text (your choice) with the customer’s contact details
- You contact the customer directly, give them a quote, and (hopefully) win the job
- You pay a flat fee per lead — no auction, no bidding, no surprise charges
You set your own service area, your own lead volume cap, and your own pause/resume schedule. If you’re going on vacation or hitting capacity, you turn off lead flow with one click.
What we expect from haulers in our directory
To stay in good standing, haulers in our network agree to a few basic standards:
- Respond to customer inquiries promptly. If a customer contacts you, get back to them within one business day. Customers who don’t hear back from a hauler often complain to us, and repeated complaints will trigger a review of your listing.
- Honor written quotes. If you give a customer a written quote, the final invoice should match it (subject to legitimate weight overages and disclosed surcharges). Bait-and-switch pricing is the fastest way to get removed from our directory.
- Disclose fees upfront. Weight allowances, overage rates, fuel surcharges, environmental fees, permit costs, and any other charges should be disclosed in writing before the customer books. Customers who get surprise fees almost always complain — to us, to the BBB, and to their state attorney general.
- Be honest in your marketing. Don’t claim service areas you don’t actually serve. Don’t advertise sizes you don’t actually own. Don’t post fake reviews. We do random checks, and we remove haulers who misrepresent themselves.
Pricing
We do not publish exact pricing on this page because rates vary by service area, lead volume, and which products you sign up for. Here’s what we can say:
- Free directory listings are free, with no contract or commitment
- Premium hauler profiles are priced as a flat monthly fee, not a percentage of revenue
- Lead routing is priced per lead, with the rate disclosed before you sign up — no auction, no variable pricing
- There are no setup fees, no early termination fees, and no minimum contract terms
Email us with your service area and we will send you specific pricing for your market.

Frequently asked hauler questions
Are you going to compete with us?
No. DumpsterSidekick is a directory and quote-routing service. We do not own dumpsters, we do not deliver dumpsters, and we have no plans to. Our business model only works if your business model works.
What if a customer leaves a bad review?
One bad review will not get you removed from our directory. Every business has unhappy customers occasionally. A pattern of complaints — especially complaints about the standards above (no-shows, surprise fees, misrepresented services) — will trigger a review of your listing.
Can I claim an existing listing for my company?
Yes. If you find your company already in our directory, email haulers@dumpstersidekick.com with proof you operate the business (business license, EIN documentation, or a phone call from a number we can verify against public records). We will give you control of the listing and you can update it as needed.
Do I have to use lead routing if I have a free listing?
No. The free directory listing and the lead routing program are independent. You can have a free directory listing without ever opting into lead routing, and you can pause lead routing at any time without losing your directory listing.
What’s the typical hauler in your network?
Most are independent local operators with one to five trucks, serving a metro area or a few adjacent counties. We work with smaller regional operators and a few national companies as well, but the core of our directory is the local hauler down the road who knows the markets they serve.
